I spent about a week at this hotel and I enjoyed my stay. As stated in oher reviews, the hotel is modern, the pool is nice and refrshing for the hot sumer days, the stake and empanadas at QGrill is great, the malbecs one can enjoy at the bar next to the pool are brilliant, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathrooms quite large and nicely appointed, the terrace looking out to the plaza offers a nice respite after a busy day and the gym is small but fully functional. A couple of things I did not like: out of the 2 elevators closer to my room and located next to the casino entrance, only 1 was available as the other was "reserved" for accessing the underground parking. This meant having to spend long minutes for the elevator. A couple of times, tired of waiting, I did tried the emergency stairs and I was shocked to see chairs piling up on the landing areas somewhat blocking the escape route, which pose a huge safety issue to customers. I didn't like the fact that the concierge was rarely available in his/her position and I did not appreciate their attitude either. Other than that I thought the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The guys at reception did even arrange for someone to go to a drugstore and get me painkillers as I injured a foot playing football --the national sport. The Hyatt is a good spot for enjoying Mendoza.

The Park Hyatt is nice, don't get me wrong, clean lines, fine service (if not a little too full of themselves), food is okay, pool serves the purpose, walking distance to everything...but it lacks something? Charm? Style? Soul? I dunno...a fine chain hotel.

the hotel is good but the air conditioning system is very bad. The grill restaurant produces a very strong odor that pollutes the rooms. For the same cost-benefit relation it's possible to get better hotel in Mendoza. Nice wine bar. Nice service.

Rooms are very modern. Bathroom is huge with marble tiles throughout. Bed was king size and had linen changed every day. Staff are helpful and most speak some English. Service response is instantaneous. Wifi is free in the lobby with password request in the rooms. It is about USD12 a day in the rooms. There is a range of restaurants and a large open square that separates the hotel from the casino. A large number of security staff are present but unobtrusive. Beef at the Q Grill restaurant was perfect.
