I use to go to NH Cordillera in my business trips. Is a well located hotel in the downtown of the city. Fitness center and swimming pool are really poor. Good breakfass and kindly staff.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in Nov. 2010. Purpose of our trip was to visit a few wineries and do some white water rafting. The hotel tends to cater to business travelers and seemed to host several meetings during our stay. That being said, there is a pool and gym and the hotel staff treated us well and were friendly and helpful.

Our room on the 1st floor smelled like sulfur (rotten eggs) so we asked to switch and the hotel staff accommodated us right away. We weren't sure if the smell was due to the unique drainage system in Mendoza or a plumbing issue, but our second room was much better. The bathroom was okay, bed was good, and breakfast was decent (standard pastries, yogurt, juices). You could open the windows and get some fresh air, but the hotel is on a busy corner so there is noise. WiFi was always available.

Despite the "average" room characteristics (bed took up pretty much the entire room), the location was fantastic! Situated on one of the 4 main squares in Mendoza you are no more than a few blocks from a ton of great restaurants, bars, cafes. There is laundry nearby too. If you don't plan on spending a lot of time in your room, then this hotel is perfect and a great value for its location.

Argentina has loads of new stylish boutique hotels to offer for good prices..so does Mendoza. We were really disappointed with the travel agency that recommended this place. The website pictures look great but that's just the new lobby area! service is average,so is breakfast, the roomsare not clean at all!beds are old and dirty..I have the habit of checking my pillow and there were stainsof all sorts beneath the cover. The tapistry came of the walls, the tv was absolute crap and the floor was wagely swept..mold areas in the bathroom, old and torn towels and very noisy.

Great basis for walking exploration of Mendoza City. Close to local & tourist shopping areas, within easy walking of Plaza Independencia, Sarmiento Pedestrian Street with it's myriad of restaurant choices as well as hiking and climbing shops. Local shopping streets of Las Heras as well as San Martin are convenient. The rooms were good sized, the beds were excellent only drawback was the strange shower door arrangement, but you can deal with that easy enough!! The front desk staff were excellent: we arrived early in the A.M. and they released a room immediately, giving us a place for our luggage and clean up, pleasant and unexpected perk, as well as they gave us a late check-out w/o add'l charge, we simply asked! There are two internet computers in the lobby, printing our return tickets was somewhat of a hassle as you have to email your print job to the hotel front desk and they print it for you. They gave us an excellent recommendation for a nice dining venue, La Marchigiana located a short 3 block walk!! The hotel dining room staff were attentive and pleasant, doing their best for we who speak broken Spanish. Even the room maid was very attentive and helpful. The spa staff were excellent, with services priced very attractively. I'd recommend this hotel to any friends and family looking for lodging in Mendoza, it's a can't miss reasonable choice.
