I could be wrong, but it seems that there are not a lot of great hostel options in Mendoza. Savigliano is not incredibly comfortable. I've grown quite accustomed to TV's in Latin American hostel rooms and Savigliano has none. The old-style keys for my room (and a separate one for my bathroom) are cumbersome. They do, however have a spacious kitchen and free internet. The location right next door to the bus station is convenient if you want to drop your things off asap after a long trip, but it is a 15-20 minute walk to the city center in not-particularly-well-lit streets. The staff was kind and helpful. Overall, I was happy with my stay at Savigliano, but if I go to Mendoza again I will look for something more centrally located with a few more amenities.

On average a very average hostel. Half the staff were very sweet and friendly, while the others were indifferent, or verging on hostile in the case of the cleaning staff. Beds were clean as was the hostel overall.

They have everything a good hostel should have but in the end it just does not have a great/cosy atmosphere. Handy being 1 min walk from the bus station, but this means it is not in a great part of town. Altogether a average industrial feel hostel. Could do worse than stay here.

The hostel is very good located if you want to continue your trip to chile because it is only 3min by foot from the main bus roadway station. People are very friendly, you can also buy you bus ticket directly at the reception. Good packpackers atmosphere. Cosy and cheap.

I booked this hostel after leaving one of the worst hostels I have every stayed in. The location is great- next to the bus terminal and walking distance to many of the sights. Dorms and bathrooms were nice and clean. I was most impressed with the very friendly and attentive staff. Security is also good.
