This is a very comfortable business-class hotel, right in the heart of a fascinating city.
I asked for a quiet room, and I ended up on the 12th floor which was indeed tranquilo. WiFi worked well. Air conditioning was efficient and utterly quiet on the lowest setting. Bath was big and luxurious with lots of hot water. Bed was comfortable.
I saw no sign of the stained carpets somebody else mentioned, though I could see that a few seat cushions in the breakfast area need to be replaced. And mirroring somebody else's comment, I think the maid tried to get into my room while I was inside, in spite of the do-not-disturb sign. Other than that little issue, I could see that service was helpful, both at the front desk and at breakfast.
Though checkout time is 11am, the magnetic door keys seem to expire at 10am (time zone glitch?) so I found myself locked out of my room after breakfast - two days in a row. (When I confirmed at the front desk that I could stay an extra day, neither of us thought to reprogram my key for another day - plus that extra hour.)
