“Don't stay in the Old Building!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 December 2011

Stayed there in the old building in the rear and don't advise same unless on a strict budget. Rather, stay in the new addition that is quite nice. The restaurant is TOP NOTCH for all meals. I met and complimented the chef while there. She's a star for sure. I believe this spot has the best food in all of the three places to stay along the Cliffs.

Room Tip: Stay in the new addition building for a modern and more quiet room with views !

“The restaurant is the main attraction here for us”

Used this as a base of for our travel & sightseeing in the Page area. Rooms are nothing special but were clean and beds good. They outfit Colorado River fishing trips out of here which seemed to be doing a brisk business if your into to that. What really convinced us to stay here were the rave reviews about the restaurant. The food is GREAT! Service superb and very accomadating if you need to go meals for your excursions. Go for the food and you won't be disappointed.

“Serindipity!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2011

this was the unexpected delight of a month long road trip. Not only was the food great and the rustic lodge room perfect, but the service was un be lievable. These people will take you in like long lost friends, and on the full moon or the dark moon, the setting cannot be beat.

“Cafe is great!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2011

I ate here twice; once on the way to/and on way back to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon from Phoenix. The chicken Philly cheesesteak was fresh and veggies crisp, but it was too dry and lacked seasoning. The cheddar cheese burger with green chiles was awesome (you build your own burgers). Best part? Their sweet potato fries are the best I've ever tasted. I was driving so I stayed with iced tea, but they have some excellent local brews on draft, too. And the view? Vermilion Cliffs at your backside, and Echo Cliffs across the Colorado River gorge and Valley. Not shabby at all. I'll definitely return. And some trivia" It is exactly 1/2 way between Las Vegas and Phoenix via car.

“"Pick a falling star, and put it in your pocket"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 October 2011

This will be the third time my husband and I have stayed at Cliff Dwellers, and this time we shared our 'best kept secret' with our friends. We love the desert, and the absence of all things city. It is a 'fishing lodge' so it is what it is. The sheets are clean, the beds comfortable, and beauty abundant. The folks here are very friendly, and the menu offers choices for all tastes. (we have never been disappointed with our meals). Perhaps one has to be on a motorcycle to enjoy all this breathtaking beautiful this canyon has to offer. If you are expecting "The Ritz". then keep driving, and leave a room for those of us who appreciate both the simple as well as the elegant. See you in the spring, our friends at the Cliff Dwellers.
