Ive stayed in many hostels around the world and I have to say this is the rudest most unwelcome I have felt anywhere on the planet.
From the front first impressions are cool, surfy , close to the beach with a boutique hotel feel, do not be drawn in by the cool quicksilver logo on the front as we foolishly did.
Upon entering we were recieved with a cold rude introduction and a sense of wasting thier time, we asked if there was availability to which we were qouted a steep made up on the spot 200 pesos per night for a twin room. These prices are double to what is qouted on thier website and triple the rate of the hostel we found the next night which was fantastic.
It had been a long bus ride so we went with the twin room for 1 night. The room was basically more like a cupboard with a bunk bed that just about stood up straight. You took your life into your hands climbing to the top. the linen was dirty we found lots of hairs in the beds and stains. The as advertised private shower was communal dirty and the shower dribbled. Upon querying the price with the guy at reception he pretended he didnt understand our spanish of which Ive spoken for 5 years having lived in barcelona then avoided us at any opportunity. We left in the morning and headed 3 blocks across to a completely different kettle of fish. Dont waste your money dont stay here.
