This hotel is located approximately an hour to an hour and a half (depending on traffic) from Buenos Aires. It is clean and the staff is friendly. Security is good, starting with a uniformed guard in the lobby (evenings) and elevators that operate only with your room key. There is no restaurant on premises, however, just around the corner is a great one with fantastic dishes at reasonable prices. Advice varies about the surrounding area but generally don't plan on going out walking in the evening alone.

This hotel is in a great location but it is really in need of an update. It is sporting some 1980's bathrooms which need some TLC. The safe didn't have a lock (or a keypad) so I wasn't sure how to use it. The breakfast was about on par with the hostels I have stayed in, bread with cheese and ham, fruit and maybe cereal if you are lucky. THe aircon in the room was very very noisy but without it, the room was like a sauna! The internet was free but kept dropping out every few minutes which was very annoying. It also wasn't strong enough to cope with the requirements of VPN (login for work network). Overall, OK for a night or two but that is about it.

I was booked into this hotel when I had a 24 hour delay with Aerolineas Argentina. The hotel is located right in the center of La Plata, opposite a leafy park, with good bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel is rated 4-star, but there was some aspects that were better suited to a 3-star rating, I think. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a good restaurant on the ground floor that served excellent steaks at a good price. Although I did not have to pay for the room, I thought the US$180 room charge was a little steep for what you got, especially as the air conditioning in the room did not work properly. Still, I had a good stay, and would definitely consider using the hotel again if I passed this way again.

The hotel was clean, the bed looked like it would be comfortable, but it wasn't that great (of course everyone will have different opinions about that, so it may be good for you). We found it to be pretty noisy with street noise during the night, perhaps they could get thicker windows? Plus the heat went on in the middle of the night despite us having the air conditioning on, and the room was an OVEN, so hot!

The staff were helpful and kind, the location is excellent, a lovely neighborhood. The breakfast really brings down the ratings, nothing was good about it. We are used to continental breakfasts like you would get in Europe - they would do better to have less choice (get rid of the cheap stale cookies and processed food), and just have some good buns/croissants with jam). The coffee was horrible. But otherwise an ok place. I think if I came back, I would like to try another place ...
