We stayed at the Castelar hotel, and moved to the 725 continental, which we were very satisfied with. The luggage/concierge guy helped us with our bags when we arrived at the hotel. They had upgraded us, so we got a nice room with a bathtub.
All the staff have been very professional, friendly and very serviceminded - especially Christian at the reception, Analia by the rooftop pool and a very nice concierge guy, whose name I didn't get. Everyone is very nice and almost everyone speak english.
The breakfast is fantastic, a chef does eggs for you and there is a big variety in the breakfast.
The maid cleans your room every day, which was very nice.
There is a fitnessroom with a few machines to work out with and if you're looking to get massage, it is highly recommended! They are really good! Make sure to get it in the room as it can get noisy by the fitness room.
The hotel's coffee (cappuchino) is really good, however their food could be better, and a bit pricy for what you get.
We ate a nice dinner at Estilo Campo by Puerto Madero and it was very nice with good service from our waiter, Fernando!
Our last dinner place was at La Brigada in San Telmo, it's a must in Buenos Aires - Their reviews are great too!
One thing you need to know about the hotel and the centre of Buenos Aires is that you should come in the weekends, as it is nice and quiet! During the week, it can get very noisy and we got waken up every night by some alarm and a clock on the street.
It is so lovely on saturdays and sundays :-)
