Buenos Aires is a beautiful and stylish city with friendly people. Giorgio's House is part of this with comfort and personal attention from Anastacia who provides a great breakfast (Great Argentinia fresh pastries..forget about your weight!. This B & B is on the top floor of an apartment building on one of the main streets (Av. Rivadavia) and close to the metro (Subte) which is extensive, efficient and cheap. The whole city reminds me of Paris (but with friendly, attractive Spanish-speaking people)..the public buildings and avenues are on a grand style.Giorgio's is an enlarged apartment with several small coutryards to give privacy. A nice lounge with free laptop access and musical instruments (the guitar was good to play again) and also a nice kitchen where one can cook at any hours from the food one can buy (cheaply) in the supermarket nearby. There is a movie complex-mall across the road for many fast-food outlets and also some good restaurants nearby.
Ana also organised a tango night...NOT TO BE MISSED. It is the soul of Argentina and late at night you will see that much of the city is vibrant with people. Some of the political side too with protests in the streets at all hours.
Anastacia is very experienced in the tourist industry and was extremely helpful in organising cash exchange and personally took my wife and I on some local trips. She also took us to the airports and picked me up when I returned from Usuhaia. A lovely lady!
