you get a very nice room on top floor then you go out and come back late (after all it is BAires,,,) to be waken up by workers drilling holes in the walls at 8am! Nobody warned you about this when checking in! They should not have rented the room but seems that it is all about money... sad!

The hotel is clean, the breakfast is included. There was one gentleman at the front desk....his name may have been Juan? Sorry, I can't remember....but he was absolutely fantastic and helpful and spoke perfect English. He arranged for a rental car for us, helped us with directions and was overall very kind.

The shower doors were terrible and the water leaked all over the floor of the bathroom, however, other than that, we were quite happy with our room. Yes, there is construction banging going on during the day, didn't bother us as we were out and about constantly, but it is something to be aware of. Great location, felt very safe and it was easy to catch a cab and access the city.

As others have noted, this little hotel has some issues. I was only here one night, because the condo I rented wasn't available our first night. We had two rooms and my room was nice, cool, and comfy, although it also leaked from the air conditioner. They did fix this but it's interesting to see this seems to be a frequent occurrence. The 2nd room was a problem, because it was a very hot day, and the AC didn't work. Maintenance fixed it twice, only to have it fail 10 minutes later. A 2nd room was made available and all was well. I really liked how close the hotel was to the subway, relatively speaking. Our condo in Recoletta was gorgeous but it was at least a 20 minute walk to the nearest subway, versus at this hotel. The English speaking front desk clerk was quite kind and helpful, and I liked that breakfast was free. I'm glad I got to stay in this part of town and I enjoyed my stay

We spent 4 nights at this hotel and were very happy with pretty well everthing about it,

Contrary to other reviews we experienced absolutely no problems with noise. We were out each day between 9am and 4-30pm and again for dinner in the evening so if there was noise then it did not affect us.

The location is great. About 6/7 minutes walk from the underground and bus stops but more importantly within 10 minutes walk of Palermo's great selection of restuarants and bars.

The hotel has 27 rooms and we were on the top level (floor 9) so had great views from our balconey. The room was spotless, very comfortable and spacious and the bathroom was equally good.

The staff were helpful with giving us information, booking taxis etc.

The buffet breakfasts were great with plenty of fresh fruit and a good range of other food

There were several daily newspapers available including a local one printed in English

The hotel had unlimited and free internet access

The only blip was that on one occasion our bed had not been made up but that did not spoil what was a very enjoyable stay
