For everybody there is a nice type of appartment. If your zen, tango or modern, pick the appartment of your choice. It is very nice if you want some privite time in your own space.
The hotel is located in San Talmo, and old neighborhood with a nice sqaire were people are dancing tango in the evening. For me this appartment was a great landing in Buenos Aires.

A lovely boutique hotel. Beautiful, spacious loft apartment with balconies. Lots of thoughtful touches including complimentary internet, in-room snacks, bottled water, tea, coffee, olive oil, even salt and pepper. Safe and secure. They thoughtfully left us a bottle of champagne to help celebrate our honeymoon - even though we never told them! Only 5 minutes walk from Plaza Dorrego and the heart of San Telmo where simply everything goes on in BA. Generous breakfast which runs late for those who like to sleep in. A helpful hostess who speaks at least 3 languages. Transfer to the airport affordable and on-time. They offer several reasonably priced to organize tours, and we did a decent city tour. BA So much more than a chain hotel, very special indeed. We are definitely returning!

although not your best budget option, the contemporary suite was very nice. the bed was comfortable (although be warned it is two twin mattresses pushed together to make a king), kitchen area clean, nice big windows, reception was super kind and the breakfast nice and ample. the neighborhood was nice, sleepy - however lots of bus noise. 25 minute walk to plaza de mayo and close to the san telmo market on sunday (a must).

Casa Bolivar is in the quiet part of San Telmo. Only a few blocks from the tourist street.
We stayed here twice, and received a warm and personal welcome and service.
Gabriel is a great guy !!
Wide range of rooms, try to avoid the oriental room, as only a patio window.
Highly recommendable place !
