We stayed here for four nights in the beginning of our trip. The location is good enough - we knew it was not in the heart of Palermo but it's not too long a walk, anyway. The immediate neighbourhood looks best on Tuesday - after the weekly clean of the nearby streets :) otherwise is a bit shabby area but it felt safe, anyway.

Very helpful and welcoming staff. I was most grateful to the guys for opening my Antler's suitcase's lock which got jammed after the flight!

The rooms are big and have all you need, incl. a minibar but i would improve the lighting in the bathroom and the room itself - I missed better lighting getting ready and putting make-up, drying hair, etc. Otherwise very good.

It was my second visit to BAires and it was a good place to stay, different (last year I stayed using my loyalty points at Hyatt in Recoleta). I am not sure I'd recommend Cahuel Hotel as a base for the very first visit to the city but the price is good for BAires and it's a comfortable and welcoming place.

The rooms were clean and comfortable with nice bathrooms. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Good location and secure. My only issue is with the noise. The design of the hotel amplifies and carries voices- we stayed in 2 different rooms in the front and back (dining room noise) and it was the same in both.

We were originally scheduled to stay here for two days and then were going to find something else closer to all the tourist attractions. However, we extended our stay for the full 7 days that we're in Buenos Aires to photograph a wedding. It's true it's a bit further out, but the most expensive taxi ride we've taken so far was 30 pesos (about $10 USD), so nothing is ridiculously far away.

The staff are beyond wonderful -- they've been exceptionally friendly and have responded to every concern that we've hide while we were here (needed an iron, needed a bowl, where's a pharmacy, etc.).

The rooms are nothing fancy but they're very modern and totally clean. Housekeeping has come in every day and kept everything spotless and even organized and hung up some of my clothes that I had left out on the bed in the closet for me.

If you pay in cash, you get a discount, meaning the price is pretty reasonable.

Wireless internet works with no problems at a pretty good speed. Air conditioner/dehumidifier also works great.

The safe is large enough to fit a laptop or two plus cameras if that's what you travel with so that feature is very convenient.

Our room has a window to the interior of the hotel so it's very quiet at night and in the morning there's a little bit of noise around breakfast time if you're not already up by that time.

We still have four more nights here and I'm looking forward to the rest of our stay. So far I have nothing negative to say about this hotel.

Boutique hotel, excellent service, very clean and comfortable. Perhaps because it's outside Palermo Soho the price is much better than the lovely boutique hotels (which are a step up in luxury but 2 steps up in price) in Palermo Soho or Palermo Hollywood. Breakfast included with fresh OJ and fresh fruit salad and real cafe con leche (no full restaurant)
