I spend the worst hotel stay in Cahuel, because I was not able to cancel the pre paid reservation. The staff was not friendly, not unfriendly, but careless and slow. The hotel was noisy really. All the voices from neighbouring rooms were resounding around the building. There were not a simpliest sound proofing. Rooms were worn out and all there were problems with humidity (water) in the rooms. At least room nb. 5 was a disaster with clear marks of mold injuries on the wall and the smell was stunning. The staff disclaimed the mold problem, of course and covered the im´njuries with a poster on the wall. How clever!!!
The WiFi did NOT work in the rooms. Wired connection worked occasionately upstairs.
The breakfast was like they were living under a food regulation. Ham and cheese slices were served 4 slices at a time on the tiny buffet. So every second guest had to go to ask more.
So I can never recommend Cahuel to anybody, not even to my best enemy!
