This is actually an apartment-hotel, and I have stayed here on numerous trips to BA. The rooms are larger than those in an average hotel have a kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, full sink and dishes. No room service or other typical on-site hotel amenities like a bell-boy. However, it does have daily maid service, and the bathroom with a full tub and shower is also a nice size. Rooms facing the street have roll down shutters over the balcony door which reduce the street noise and light. The location cannot be beat, as shopping, numerous restaurants and even a full supermarket are all very close by. The Metro station is a somewhat longer 3-4 blocks away. Televisions need an upgrade, but they have full cable service, and high speed internet is free. The staff does NOT speak English, but have always been helpful. A pass to a local gym can be obtained from the Security Desk.
