We were only supposed to stay at the Moreno Hotel for one night at the end of our trip but as our flights to Iguazu were cancelled we ended up staying for 3 nights - and how lucky we were. The staff are attentive and always there to help with recommendations and bookings, also when we arrived and needed to stay for the extra 2 nights and needed to find somewhere good to eat after a long day at the airport! The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and clean. The old fashioned elevators are a highlight. The location was incredible so close to San Telmo antique shops/restaurants and the cathedral. And the roof top was a perfect place to have breakfast each morning and relax after a long day sightseeing. Moreno Hotel is the type of place you are excited about coming back to at the end of a day! The perfect end to our Argentina trip.

My second stay at the Moreno 12 months apart - some great improvements in that time. The rooms are still huge and a bonus after being in a tiny ships cabin for 8 weeks in antarctica. The roof top breakfast is a vast improvement on what was on offer before. i also like being left alone by the staff unless I approach them.

we really enjoyed staying at Moreno. the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, the rooms are big and, if you ask for a front facing, you'll have a nice view of a church (tho' a tad noisy in the morning). Breakfast on the top floor is fine, as is the outdoor jacuzzi - nothing spectacular, but fine. We really enjoyed the location of this hotel. it is 3 min. from plaza de mayo and San telmo is a lovely area to explore. will be back!

When you get into the hotel it looks like an french 1930's building, by the way, it was built in this year, and the owners got a really good job maintaining the original structure, but offering all we need in confort, tecnology, and well being. I loved the 30's elevators, with pantograph doors and high tech controls.
The rooms is large, the bed is very confortable, and the shower is amazing.
You can go walking to the Casa Rosada, and Puerto Madero, two great tourism points, including Puerto Madero has wonderful restaurants, and wine stores.
For those who want silent and peace, being near the BA center, paying a low price, this is a great choice.
