“Small Hotel in Las Canitas”

We spent two nights as Casa Las Canitas in January 2012. Our room was neat and tidy, but very small. We struggled to navigate around two large suitcases. That said, we were appreciative that they allowed us to check in early.

The hotel is in Las Canitas neighborhood of San Telmo - a 20-30 minute walk from San Telmo Viejo/Hollywood. That said, the Las Canitas neighborhood has a small area of up-and-coming restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the boutique ice cream shop up the street.

The hotel was adequate, but given the location and size of the rooms (compared to more than 5 other hotels I have stayed at in Buenos Aires), I would not necessarily recommend it to others.

My name is Mónica Szalkowicz, I am the General Manager of Casa Las Cañitas Boutique Hotel.

Our Hotel is located in Las Cañitas neighborhood, which is part of Palermo(20 minutes walk from Palermo Hollywood and Palermo Soho). San Telmo is located many kilometers away from us.

I appreciate your feedback about our rooms. Our hotel was built in an old traditional house of Las Cañitas, in order to let our guests feel like home. We have rooms with different size and in our website it is possible to check them. “A Great Place to Stay in Buenos Aires”

We stayed here from the 20/1 to 28/1. Planned on only staying 2 days and then looking closer to the City but this location was perfect, we stayed 8 days. Within walking distance (1-1.5 hours for some walks) to the City, Palermo, Recoletta. Close to subway stations, beautiful parks, shopping. Rooms were very clean. Staff welcoming and friendly the whole stay. Security was good. This street is very quiet at night. One block away, great restaurants and bars. Loved my stay in BA and this was a perfect base to see a whole lot of it. Thank you Casa Las Canitas.

“An outstanding boutique hotel”

Staying here was brilliant! This top-class hotel is beautifully decorated, the grassed outdoor area and spa is an oasis and the service is exceptional. All staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to help you with every aspect of your stay/travels. I can't wait to go back!

“Chevere service!”

The service here was the best! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, it was great getting to know them. I stayed here with a group of friends and we had a great time. The hotel staff helped us make dinner reservations and plan our party nights. The hotel is probably better for couples or families but I would stay here again even as a single guy because the people are great. Thanks to everyone at Casa Las Canitas!

“Outstanding Staff”

This place is outstanding! The staff are the best and very helpful. Casa Las Canitas is located in one of the best parts in Buenos Aires. The beds are small for individuals, but really didn't care with the overall service provided. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting B.A.
