spend one night for business purpose
everything was fine bed ,bath and beyond
its just a well located hotel in down town bs as not a lifetime experiece but if you need a quiet clean place to rest this hotel is rock solid
not an experience just lodging
room is good size and you are walking distance to everything
i can rate it better than claridge,bisonte palace,costa sol hotels which are the last visited in buenos aires

This place was so horrible please don't stay here so much was wrong with.
1. The swimming pool was not open even though the website stated it would be at the dates we stayed.
2. I walked in on the maids using my makeup and trying on my clothes, this is disgusting and very unhygienic.
3. When I complained all of a sudden no one could speak english but that didn't stop them wanting to be tipped the day we checked out.
So cheeky and rude I have written in and complained and have heard nothing from the manager. I had to throw out a lot of my makeup on creams as I didn't know what eles they may have used over our stay there.

The Reconquista Garden has a modest exterior that belies the quality of the interior rooms and amenities. Our room was on the back side of the hotel and was extremely quiet and comfortable. Furnishings were tasteful and elegant with well appointed bathrooms. The staff was superb - always helpful and accomodating. Breakfasts are included and hard to fault with lots of fresh fruit and juices, cereal, eggs, a meat dish, sweet rolls etc. The location is just a few blocks from the pedestrian Florida and Lavelle streets. The hotel staff was very helpful booking tours, providing directions and advice. We booked though Expedia whch provided some savings. We felt this hotel was an outstanding value for money, hospitality and location. Highly recommended.

We stayed two nights here and were pleasently surprised with how good the hotel was. It does not look much from the outside but inside (over six floors), it is ok. Our room was large and at the back - which I think meant we did not hear the street noise other reviewers have commented upon. The bathroom was ok (although the hot water was not very hot), the TV had numerous channels and the breakfast was more than continental. One of the great things for us was that WIFI Internet was free if you sat in the lobby.

Having recently stayed at another hotel in BA which was more expensive than this, we found very little difference in the quality.
