We stayed here 2 different times - once at the beginning and once at the end of our tour. Our rooms were 2* quality. The carpet was thin, and stained. It was fine for what it was, but it was more on the level of a Motel 6 in the States.

However, here are the positives:
A Very Good Breakfast spread and the dining room was large and roomy.
Lots of outlets in the room if you have a lot of gagets to recharge
Good location for walking

And a couple of negatives:
Internet only in the lobby. Wireless was free. If you had to use the hotel's computer it was about $1.00 for 20 minutes.
And if it is important, there are no TV channels in English

I stayed in this hotel in march 2008. This is a great hotel, in a excellent location. The rooms are roomy and clean, the bathroom is wonderful.

As far as the location goes it's not bad, thats about the only good point I can think of.
I was booked into the Reconquista luxor and after waiting from 10am to 3pm to check in I was told my booking had been moved to the Reconquista garden.
The "garden" is a courtyard with a fire escape in it next to reception.
The room was basic but not very clean, one of the lamps was broken and the bed was very uncomfortable.
I had a bad night's sleep as my room was close to the lift which beeped every time it stopped on my floor, this woke me up countless times through the night. Then, while trying to have a lie in on a Sunday I was again woken by the housekeeping staff shouting to each other, they were having a conversation while working in rooms at opposite ends of the corridor. in addition to that the road noise from passing vehicles was also very loud so forget having a restful time here

spend one night for business purpose
everything was fine bed ,bath and beyond
its just a well located hotel in down town bs as not a lifetime experiece but if you need a quiet clean place to rest this hotel is rock solid
not an experience just lodging
room is good size and you are walking distance to everything
i can rate it better than claridge,bisonte palace,costa sol hotels which are the last visited in buenos aires
