Hotel Esplendor's biggest strength is it's Reception staff who are absolute stars. Next is its location which is central for lots of different venues including major shopping areas. Beyond that it has a quirky boutique feel about it and very interesting Art work in the foyer and corridors. Then come the rooms......... Air-con never really worked so the rooms were hot and stuffy or should I say ours was.. 3rd floor facing the street. Shower was over the bath which was annoying. Towels were frayed and there were few power points. Breakfast was poor for an alleged 4 star hotel. Coffee foul and bread tasteless. Juice was not fresh and fruit was tinned. Could have been so much better. Hotel design has pretentions but rooms and breakfast let it down. OK if you are passing through BA but better hotels out there. Sorry staff... cos you were fab but just not enough for what we paid!!

This is a lovely hotel in the perfect locastion for visiting BA. Most of the main sites are walkable from here and the tube is very close for trips a bit further out.
Rooms are comfortable and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is fine with plenty of choice and taken in a very atmospheric room .
The staff helped us with lots of things from booking onward flights to getting footballl tickets they were always helpful and smiley.

Good value at around £67 per night with a decent breakfast, modern spacious rooms and a central location just round the corner from Florida (the main pedestrianised shopping street). Staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Walkable to the subway but takes around 10 minutes. A noisy & bustling city, so some slight traffic noise was audiable in the room, but this did not affect my sleep etc

This is a very modern hotel well located near the main shopping strip of Florida and within walking distance to Puerto Madero and the Buquebus terminal. The rooms were very nice and well fitted out. Very clean! We did have trouble with our accessing our room several times which was a bit annoying but the staff were generally very helpful in trying to fix the problem. Breakfast was included and was primarily continental with the addition of scrambled eggs. Overall good value for the price.
