The only thing nice about this hotel is one of the employees. Diego at the front desk is a really nice and helpful person. Other than him this hotel is terrible for business travelers. The internet only works in the lobby. They gave me, as a solo business traveler, a room with 3 twin beds. In the mini bar the water was already open and half empty when I arrived in the room. The shower is barely functional. The water dripped slowly. The rooms look like they are from 1962. I really would not recommend this hotel. I found it very expensive for the quality. Other than the nice service from Diego, the only other good quality is the location....but that is not worth the 100 euros a night.

Hotel was excellent in terms of location and value. Many attractions are only blocks away with easy and safe walking. Desk staff are helpful with good english. Hotel lobby is spacious and classy. Breakfast was fine -- lots of fruit, meat slices, cheese, cereal, juice. Not much hot food-maybe eggs and susages.

We stayed at the Hotel Conte for three days before boarding a cruise in Buenos Aires. The room was surprisingly large, the furnishings somewhat dated but very clean. We found the breakfast to be excellent, with many choices of fresh fruit, juices, pastries, etc. What impressed us most was the helpful nature of the staff. Their English was excellent and they were very conscientious in advising where to visit during the day or evening in regards to our safety. Upon returning from our cruise two weeks later, we had a full day to spend in Buenos Aires before our flight left late in the evening. Hotel Conte most graciously allowed us to store our luggage with them until we left for the airport, at no charge. We would definitely recommend this hotel for its service and perfect location in downtown Buenos Aires.
