The best thing for this hotel is the location. Just off Florida Av. You can get around the down town easly. The rooms are nice but not much more. You can't get early breakfast before 7 a.m.

Stayed here for 9 nights (probably too long a stay in BA). It has a very modern facade and interior and is located on a quiet street just off the main shopping drag. Galleria Pacifico nearby is well worth a look if shoppig is your thing.
Overall it is fine but a few small trifles:
Breakfast room is poorly designed. The linear placement of tables and the buffet means people always seem to be bumping into each other. The foof quality is decent but the range on offer limited. This space doubles as a bar in the evening but is completely devoid of atmosphere.
Found the staff to be very aloof, in contradistinction to the other 'Portenos' we encountered in the city.
Room was comfortable but compact.
The better news is that the area felt very safe, even around San Martin park and we often saw solo female pedestrians or families out late at night. This was true of most of the city, there are some edgy areas around La Boca but that can be said for any major city.
Prices online are very competitive; this was by far the least expensive hotel we stayed in during our South American travels.
P.S. Just across and a little up the road is a super pub/restaurant called 'Filo'. It features in all the major guide books and with good reason: top top food, drinks and staff. Went there every single night!

Found the hotel through internet and u will able to book cheaper on expedia then the hotel website, this is for sure not a five star but when i'm travelling without the spouse it will do... our first stay of 2 days i took the suite for an extra 50 bucks and it was worth it at 140 total. room was spacious and clean. bathrooms were okay and bed was 8/10. its a little old in corners and the furniture is somewhat scuffed but it was all good and ive stayed at lots worse in better hotel brand names... value wise this hotel is underrated... our second 2 day stay was just as good but the other side of the hotel was a lot more mechanical noise rooms ending in 2 faced the street and this noise.... the location was great close to the pedestarian mall and train station was only 5 or so blocks away, subway was also 2 blocks away... free breakfast was okay but the coffee needs help, internet was free. try the kilkenny pub 2 blocks away, live music and lots of entertainment.

Buenos Aires one of the better cities in world for hotel options with many good choices. Even so, if I wanted to be in microcenter Retiro near Reconquista, I'd stay at Dazzler San Martin again. Room 601 on quiet side of building with no street noise and even had open site lines, with kind of a view. Room very comfortable 4-start standard. Lots of channels on the TV, but no news in English. IF problems with the wifi signal, the cable can be used. Be sure to ask. Breakfast nothing special. This hotel isn't flashy or trendy -- or dazzling -- just reliable. Although they did fail to deliver the wake-up call. One irritating thing (typical in this city) was when doorman ran ahead and hailed a cab for the going to the airport, he negotiated the fare and received a kickback from the driver. Shameless. But, no need to tip the taxista after witnessing that. There's a good laundry with fast turnaround right in front of the Hotel.
