My husband and I stayed here as part of the first leg of our Argentinean adventure and we were very pleased with this hotel overall - the decor is lovely, the rooms are very nice and spacious (we had an executive room on the upper floors) and there is a nice bar to have drinks and snacks. More importantly the location of this hotel is great - located between San Telmo and Retiro it is minutes away from Puerto Madero and 2 blocks away from Florida Street, one of the main shopping areas. The central location is ideal for first time visitors to Buenos Aires as you can easily walk to many of the well known neighbourhoods.

The street outside is narrow and busy, but inside, it is quiet, clean and very efficiently run. The restaurant, business center and fitness center were excellent. We only at breakfast at the restaurant and ordered room service one evening, but it was excellent. Room was clean, dark, and quiet. Bathroom was large and clean. Elevators were modern, quiet and fast.

My stay for 4 nights was pretty flawless. The attractive staff was courteous, at check in and throughout the stay, including some special requests I had which required making some calls with the airlines. The extensive breakfast buffet (included in my rate) was very useful considering a few of my days the next meal wasn't until late afternoon! If you take advantage, the breakfast alone is worth at least $20 in considering your overall travel costs. The restaurant and bar staff were very kind and helpful.

The comfortable fitness center is full of machines -- and no people, when I was there, so that was a nice plus (and needed, considering some of our meals in BsAs!). Although there is an extra charge for internet from your room (in 12 or 24 hour increments), the Business Center with complimentary internet and basic printing was a huge help in printing out boarding passes. I ended up only needing the in-room internet one night. The conference rooms looked comfortable for small/medium groups.

Since I was there in early July, the weather was chilly, so the pool wasn't used. The only downside was the lack of any natural light, due to the location in crowded downtown where other buildings block out the sun. That would make the hotel have everything, in my opinion!

Hotel is very clean, staff is accommodating and helpful. They suggested excellent restaurants in the area. 25 de Mayo is a very noisy and crowded street, but it didn't affect my sleep quality. It's a bit of a walk to the subte, but this area is full of historic buildings and sights. Food is good in hotel restaurant.
