Outstanding location in Recoleta without the exorbitant price tag or stuffiness of other nearby hotels. Wonderful staff - very warm, helpful and accommodating.

I stayed at the Ulises for 6 days as it was a cheaper option than my friends' (work paid!) hotel round the corner. Not only great value, the hotel is very clean, breakfast buffet tasty and available up till 11am! Staff are friendly and speak English and the hotel is in a great location, in Recoleta, very handy for sights like Eva Peron's grave and great parks and shops and restaurants.
room size good, bathroom a little cosy and the lift a bit temperamental but overall would heartily recommend it!

We stayed here one night after a cruise. Great safe location in Recoleta. Staff is very nice, speak english well. Breakfast is nice.

Our three day stay at Ulises was terrific. The hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. Most importantly for USA visitors there was always someone available who spoke English. Plus the. breakfast was very tasty and filling. Hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood. However we didn't go out at night, so can't speak to the safety. I would say just as in any big American city be aware of your surroundings.
