We stayed here for 1 night and slept for only three hours. Its a shame that we have so much bad to say... the building is a beautiful old colonial style building and the location is good I guess.
We had a choice of an 8 bed dorm or private room, stayed in a private room and I am glad we did, the dorm smelt really musky and was just horrible. As we checked in we were told there would be no water from the hours of 12 a.m to 6 a.m, which wasn't helpful as we had a flight to catch at 6 the next morning. The shower area looked small and the lighting is bad but the shower has a toilet in the same room and you can close the door for privacy.
The hostel is not very clean although staff were friendly.
The computers are so old and slow too.

We were out of the hostel all day, when we returned we were welcomed to smoke filled reception and it was disgusting, noisey and dirty. Really there are cheaper and better hostel in BA to stay in. I think if you're young and a lone traveller you may not mind this hostel so much as there were a bunch of people whom seeemd to be having fun chatting, smoking, listening to loud music.....

The hostel is like a regular hostel, the people are good. is worth to spend a night to make some friends...not to rest everyone is only there to go party.

very friendly service at this central hostel. A little scruffy, but that is part of its charm. Bathrooms a bit scruffy but OK, decentish breakfast of media lunas, cornflakes and slightly out of date apples and oranges, free internet and wifi, very helpful staff and in-house travel agency and help book onwards travel etc free of commission charges. We arrived at 3am due to a very delayed flight, and were given free G&T on arrival which was much appreciated!

Smoke permeated the rooms. The place was filthy..trash all over the bedroom. Disorganised staff. Staff members gave us attitude.
