We enjoyed our stay at hotel pestana. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a comfortable room and bed on the 12 th floor with balcony. Breakfast was average. If I come again I would like to stay in recoleta because of the area - but this is a personal choice.

I stayed at this well-located, value-for-money hotel for 10 nights. The staff were friendly and service good. The rooms were slighty faded but clean and had a big wide bath. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. Represented good value when comparing with something like the Marriott. Worth saving that extra cash for some more steaks or travelling, or extra nights.

Very good hotel. Really a pestana and this talks for itself.

Comfortable, well maintenained and with a superb fitness/swimming/sauna center.

Walkable distance to Obelisco (and subway), Santa Fe and Florida Avenues.

If you are there just for tourism, you are in a very good location, very near to the central place for tourists the "Calle Florida" is the paradise for shopping stuff that you can only see in tourists.

I forgot my universal eletrical plug and I needed to ask for the staff for one spare plug and they were very helpful and available to hand me one!

I did not bother for the price since it was a business trip but i think for an average traveller it may a bit pricy!

I don't know if it still exists but, if you are a tourist don't be fooled to grab a snack at the bar at a nearby corner, near the hotel, called: "La Madelene". You are going to be eaten alive by the girls that are looking to give you some company and you are even going to be uncofortable while trying to eat something. I think this only happens at night, but anyway, it's a place that you should avoid if you don't want to pass through this situation.
