This Hotel were "sold" to us like a very well located and with an OK room and service.
The part of the location is right. It is at Av. Corrientes, one of the main avenues of Buenos Aires, very close to Florida st. But the real problem is the room. The bathtub was full of hair on the drain and we needed to clean it first in order to use it... disgusting. When going to sleep, removing the sheets more surprises, some bugs between the sheets and the mattress... Horrible.
I'll never stay on this hotel again.

We stayed there on September, 2007 and its a very old hotel. A little bit dirty. It smells mould.
It´s in downtown, near everything but we do not recommend.

No hotel could be better located: 2 blocks away from Calle Florida, 3 from Av. Nueve de Julio. Large room with above-average beds and a wall-to-wall window with a spectacular view of the Obelisk. Large TV, countless cable channels. All staff members spoke good Portuguese (the hotel is overwhelmingly popular among Brazilians). Nice breakfast with good coffee and delicious facturas. Got a bill for a can of juice (from the minibar) we did not consume; reported the error to the front desk and the bill was immediately cancelled, no questions asked. Found a cockroach in the bathroom. Water temperature was a bit hard to control. The "business center" is just one (large, comfortable) room with one internet-enabled computer.

My boyfriend and I went to Buenos Aires during the 2003 Winter and stayed for 3 nights at this hotel as it was included in a package.

The location is great, it is in the center of the city, one block away from the Obelisco and 2 blocks away from Calle Florida (where are located many stores).

As I said, the hotel is downtown Buenos Aires, so it won't suit people who are looking for something more fancy. But it had a decent and clean room and the breakfast (included) was just fine, with a nice variety of items. The room had a heater, a television (with cable), a small fridge and a telephone.

There are lots of restaurants nearby and we could go to all the other points of interest in a cab, since the cabs are really good value there.
