Great hotel, Great location, Great staff! After moving from their awful sister property we found this hotel offered just what we were looking for. Modestly price with helpful staff and a great location for shopping.

As per the title, the location is good and close to everything. The rooms are good, large and clean (as so a 4 star should be). Yes, as some other reviews mentioned, it is slightly on the worn side but this isn't western europe or the US either. The bathroom was more 2/3 star than 4 star. Shower had hot water all the time and pressure was good, so enough for me.

Breakfast is basic, but this is on par with breakfasts in most hotels in Argentina. You won't find eggs or bacon, unless it is really catering for the western tourist. This didn't bother me, i came to Argentina to experience Argentinian life and just eating fruit and light food after heavy steak dinners is advisable.

There is a basic gym & sauna also in the hotel. Staff at this hotel are also polite and friendly. One represented a poor touristy restaurant, but that was about as minor as it got.

The one only thing that really bothered me about this 4 star hotel was why I have to pay for Internet in the rooms. This is 2009 now and that is like charging to watch TV. It wasn't cheap either, about 6 euro a day! (in Argentina!). It really annoyed me as I was here for a few days and one day it didn't even work. Worst thing is, it would be deciding factor on whether I would stay there again or recommend it.

We used this hotel because we got a great rate through their web site. Booked as two king beds in room, and they were only full size. Desk said only kings in suites adn they had problems with their marketing dept. Carpets were old and dirty. Rooms need upgrading, furniture, wallpaper, bedspreads, etc. Room was kept clean by housekeeping. Plus side was the downtown location. Near Florida and Lavelle streets with all the shopping. Easy walking distance to most places. We walked to the Recolleta and San Telmo areas. Lots of restaurants, cafes, and bars in area to choose from.

Stayed at this downtown hotel since it was walking distance to where we were working. You are also close to Florida Ave, and Puerto Madero. The room was a good size with a large balcony. The bathroom was very small, you had to shut the door to move around in it. The room included a mini-fridge stocked with water, cola, and juices. The prices were reasonable. Also a coffee maker was available. Housekeeping kept the room and bathroom very clean. The rate included a free continental breakfast that was nothing to write home about; cereal, bread, cheese, pastries, fruit, and something that looked like scrambled eggs. WiFi was available for $7 USD a day. The service at the hotel was great, the front desk personal were always available for assistance. After I checked out, my morning flight was cancelled and had a 13-hour wait for the next flight. I went back to the hotel and they gave me my room back for half a day’s charge. I would definitely stay here again if I were working in this area.
