The Amerian hotel was nice - generally clean, large, comfortable. The location was great. Breakfast was fairly good, and the staff was moderate at helping us in planning our daily activities. A plus is the presence of the three computers in the lobby, all of which are free and have access to the internet. However, we found that people often hogged up these computers and lingered, so keep that in mind. If you are looking to be in the lap of luxury, certainly look elsewhere. However, if you would like a nice, comfortable and clean stay at a decent price, I would recommend this place.

Nice rooms, great location for walking, good breakfast, good staff.
Just what we needed.

Stayed three nights and found it very convenient for walking to sights, shops and restaurants. This hotel is on a pedestrian-only street which is very nice for traversing longer distances. Walking to Plaza de Mayo takes about 15 minutes. Walking to Gallerias Pacifica took 5 minutes.

Lobby was comfy for people watching, and there are three free Internet stations for checking email. Buffet breakfast was adequate with lots of fruits, breads, cereal, yogurt, meats and cheese.

My room was comfortable - beds had plump comforters. Bathroom was marble and well-equipped.

The florida street is near from hotel,the breakfast is nice, and the service was fine. The rooms are clean and have good space. I would recomend!!
