Be aware of stealing! Noisy!
The location of the hotel is excellent, near the centre. The entrance looks very modern and attractive. One of the reception people is very polite and friendly (only one!).
Four boxes with wine had been delivered for us. The reception called us and confirmed the arrival of the four boxes. We asked to have the boxes stalled in a secure place, which they said they did. We had a paper slip with the number of the boxes and the list of the delivered goods, stamped by the reception proving the four boxes had come in. Next morning one box was gone. That way we have lost $500. When leaving we insisted, that there had been 4 boxes, but the fourth one never has been found. The hotel staff promised, that the manager would call us, what he never did. When we left, we were in a terrible situation, because we had a very urgent meeting to attend elsewhere in the country. So we could not go on and call the police. The staff assured us to look for the lost goods.
We, my wife and I, had a nice room at the 8th floor first. After a day long trip across the country we went to bed early (11 pm). At 12 pm we woke up, because neighbors entered their room, smashing the door. One could hear every word they said. We asked for a different room, which we got at the second floor! That night we slept well from 1pm on. Next day, coming home at about 11pm, we heard two men talking very loud in the room next to us. After an hour women came in and we could not help but thinking they were 'paid for ladies'. No problem with that fact, but we do not want to hear all the details, while trying to sleep.
We have stayed in BA many times. This has never happened to us. Do not go to this hotel!

We stayed one week at the Dazzler and were very surprised at the value we got for the small price that we paid.
All possible services were within 2 blocks of this centrally located hotel;food store,restaurants,coffee houses,drycleaners,convenience stores,barbershop etc.
The reception was fast,helpful and very pleasant as we arrived and all hotel staff tried hard to help us as we are an elderly couple with difficulty in walking and carrying.
The rooms were comfortable and daily maid service was efficient.
All museums, interesting sites and cultural events were within an $8.00 to $10.00 taxi ride.
Try it for yourself and you will not be disappointed.

We stayed for 4 nights whilst on a road trip from Chile to Uraguay. The rooms are a llittle small, typical in a big city, but OK. All the staff were very helpful. Comfortable and great value for money.

We stayed two nights at this hotel. Booked reservation on-line the day prior to arrival. The reservation was not in their system but we were accommodated. Allowed us an early check-in (11:30am). Staff was overall ok but a bit cold. No smiles or much friendliness. Our room had dirty carpets and not a quality carpet, the bathroom was dark and outdated, the toliet wobbled. TV reception was poor at first but an employee came and resolved that issue. The beds (single beds) were comfortable. Breakfast in the morning good and plentiful. You could order eggs to go along with the selection of breads, cereal, fruits, meats, juices. Pool was cold and the water cloudy. Free internet was very much appreciated. Good location. If rooms were renovated might recommend.
