My sister and I stayed four nights. The staff always helpful and spoke English. Breakfast buffett was excellent. Moist scrambled eggs every morning. All coffee cakes types. Cereal and fresh fruit. Lots of breads cheese and meats. Very European. The chain NH brand is from Spain. Room Clean. Room very small but that is typicall. Less than a foot betwen the end of the bed to the padded seat next to the wall. Yet we still managed quite well. Small desk. TV on top on refidgerator. Beds very very firm. Pillow large but FLAT. Put neck pillow under pillow and that worked better.

Bathroom space oK. Good size counter space. Carefully sat on the biget(European again) to put makeup on. Bathtub more narrow that what US is used too. Like the handheld shower head. No shower curtain. Only a moveable half glass partition. Which means bathroom floor gets very very wet. They know this that is why there is a drain on the floor. Closet descent size and large with large closet door mirror on it. Closet is in entry way so gives more room to overall space.

No view. Could open widow. VERY QUIET. But we were on the back side of hotel. Front on little one way street might have been more noisy. But YOU ARE IN A BIG NOISEY CITY. Doorman in lobby to call for remis or taxis. In the lobby were 2 computers used for internet access. Used it all the time. One day maid forgot to leave bathmat. Asked front desk for two. Housekeeping was at the door WITHIN 10 MIN at 10PM. Elevators very small. (if you complain about elevator size STAY HOME). Please don't compare this to large excess US standars. This is why you travel in the first place to see and experience new adventures that are not US American. One block away from Calle Florida street.

Fancy shopping center. Used ATM machine there. Noticed that all the beauty/fragrance products were the same as USA/Europe. Florida street has been paved just for pedestrian so good for walking. Street performers. Saturday night hard to walk since vendors lay out all there ware out on the ground so not so much space to walk. Everything Cheap

On Calle Florida. My arms are short have difficulty fitting coats or jackets. Came here to get custom made. Loved the older sales lady. She made me feel great. She spoke English. The good looking tailor didn't. So she translated. Asked how long we were staying. Said four days. Would be ready in a day or two. ok. FIVE HOURS LATER she called and said my jacket ready. I love love love it. Might have gotten better deal else where but it was close to hotel. Didn't have to hunt for another shop.

This was my 2nd time in BA; this time on my honeymoon (her first time). It's not your typical hotel for a romantic honeymoon getaway, but the location was perfect for what we had planned to do in our short 2.5 day stay in BA. Most of the main attractions are within walking distance, and if not, taxis are very cheap in this city. I was a bit concerned about taking a cab because of everything I've read about getting the hotel to book a Remise instead, for safety reasons, but we had no problems with the few taxis that we took. They were very quick and did not try to cheat us by driving further than we needed. In comparison to Canada, they drive so crazy over there, yet I saw no accidents, it was actually a fun ride.
The staff was very helpful in getting more information for me. They looked up an address of a specific restaurant that I had in mind, and told me how to get there (Scobio on the corner of Cordoba and Esmeralda: it is inexpensive and one of the best meals I have ever had. A great way to impress someone. I recommend the eggplant and chicken small meal and Beef Tenderloin with Mushrooms)
....and they took care of all the logistics for booking a Gaucho Ranch excursion. They had 2 computers available in the lobby with free access to the internet, which was just perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was a good buffet...nothing amazing, but it did the trick. They have round-the-clock security/doorman at the door so we felt very safe around the hotel. The side streets of the Florida Street area at night aren't very different than they are during the day, it's just darker so they seem a bit scarier...no matter where you are in that area, the streets are covered in pieces of paper that have been handed out by vendors, many of them are those that you wouldn't want your children to see, also you will find that garbage bags are out everyday of the week, and in most of the big piles you will aslo find a homeless person or 2 going through them. They don't seem to pose a threat, they are just there living.
One last thing about the hotel: Nothing horrible, but the hallway and rooms were too warm for our liking, and being the winter time still (Sep 7-10) I don't think the air conditioning was turned on, just the fan worked. We made due by opening the window a crack behind the drapes, and cooled the room just enough, and kept our wine cool behind there at night too.

This is a hotel for those who do not want to make a listake. Everything is ok, people are friendly, nice rooms, but ... Nothing unremarkable. Small elevators, noise. Breakfest a little above average, with great croissants, few fruits. No carperts in the room.
In general, a medium hotel very well located that is worth what you pay for - but not more than this. Especially recommended for those first time in Buenos Aires , because of location

A professional service, very good breakfest, refurbished rooms and central location (close to the Casa Rosada, Plaza de Mayo, Puerto Madero, Calle Florida and many other landmarks). The neighborhood looks a bit unsafe at night although we've had no problems. There are better options around Palermo, but I still would recommend this hotel to a friend.
