The hotel is located in the downtown area of Buenos Aires, near shops (including the famous Calle Florida) and restaurants. The furniture seems pretty old but was functional nonetheless, we were there during the winter and the heated room was a nice thing to come back to after walking in the cold windy streets. Shower was nice, with good pressure, bed linen was pretty clean too. Breakfast is the same every day but it is very good. Staff was very polite and helpful, the only weird thing is that even though we hung a Do not disturb sign, the maid came in and cleaned anyway. She did a great job though. The hotel is within walking distance to the Obelisco and Puerto Madero but cabs are really cheap. Even though it probably shouldn't be regarded as a 4-star hotel, it was still good value.

We stayed here for 5 nights and were placed on a smoking floor despite having non smoking on our reservation. We asked to be moved but they had no other rooms available. The rooms we had were quite old and in need of renovation. The staff were friendly and really quite helpful.

The hotel was less than I expected, but still provided all basic features - plus free Internet! Rooms situated above the street are somewhat noisy and other have window overlooking the inner yard. Some rooms have issues with air conditioning or bathroom facilities. There is a WiFi access point on each floor. Beds are comfortable and the breakfast is tasty. The hotel is located close to Florida street and 15min from Porto Madero. I recommend this hotel to business people that plan to spend most of the time in the city and go back to the hotel only for a sleep and breakfast.
