Buenos Aires is a wonderful city that has everything going for it, a vist to the Senor Tango show which the hotel will arrange for you is a must, the meal before the show was excellent and Argentina wine takes some beating. Thank you Argentina for all the kindness you gave my wife and myself.

The hotel is a bit old but the location is good and the frontdoor guys was very gently. The breakfest its normal, nothing much.

Actually I AM in the hotel now and we are staying here for 6 noghts with a group of 6.

The decor is brown and old a definitely needs to be renewed.
The last time they invest serious money in this hotel must be ages away, and you can tell that by the whole interior of the premises.

The Posta Carretas is a four star hotel, but it does not look like that.
The rooms have everything that makes them 4 stars but the rooms and the rest of the hotel is of a very poor standard.
Everything looks very very old and lots things why I booked the hotel for aren't worth a visit. (The pool is freezing cold and a bit bigger than a bathtub, the sauna is not warm and fits 3 people only) and so I can continue a long time.
The breakfast and service at the breakfast is so poor (cold toast, green cold boiled eggs, old bread and so on), you will ge better in a 2 or 3 star hotel.
So is it worth the money overall? NO! Absolutely not!

Anything positive? Yes, the bell boys are friendly and the elevators are working well.

The hotel is located around all the major sites. My room was clean and had a balcony and a jacuzzi in it. Breakfasts were nice, the hotel was quiet. Next time I'm down in Buenos Aires I will definatly be staying here.
