My son and I spent 6 nights in the hotel.
Strengths included: great staff (helpful, accommodating), delicious breakfasts, good Internet service, convenient location and clean.
Negatives were: poor room temp control (hot throughout), Internet, while good once connected, had elaborate password system that changed for every device, every 2 days, making log on and off very time consuming, and better intro to hotel and facilities would have let us make better use of what was available.
Had to check bill carefully too, as we were double billed for one room service order and an extra hotel night (they corrected it but took a long time).

I stood for 4 nights at this hotel with my girlfriend. Many problems at the check-in gave me a bad 1st impression, as we booked a double bed superior room but none was available (there was a huge congress at the city during that week). However the afternoon receptionist Gloria solved our problem and we got an excellent room after all the hustle. After this mishap, I left the hotel with a good impression, clean room, good breakfast and staff (reception, bellboys, breakfast, bar, housekeeping, reservation, security) was very friendly for my requests.
The location is great as you can walk to Colon Theater, close subway stations and Obelisco (for some tours that have this as meeting point).
Summarizing
What we were looking for: A decent hotel for a nice price, specially for a busy congress week (almost all hotels fully booked) in Buenos Aires.
Pros: Very friendly staff, room cleanness, location.
Contras: I won´t count the check-in problem as this was solved in the proper way. Room sound isolation from the street noise is very good, but from the side room wasn’t perfect.
An improvement is that breakfast could have more items.
Tips: If fits your budget, try a room at the end of the corridor (I guess they are the superior and city view).
Final opinion: We were pleased with our stay. It's not a top class hotel, but worth the money paid.

Went to this Hotel for a couple of meetings close to downtown Buenos Aires. Main entrance is in a narrow street, so consider using a taxi instead of a rental car. Hotel is very close to almost every interesting attraction in central area of BAires, and this is problably its strongest point. Rooms are in the average of a 3 star hotel, and not large. Breakfast area is small to acommodate guests in peak hours, specially if Hotel is hosting some meeting, but buffet is honest and options are well presented.
Main desk staff is not specially friendly, problably because they are permanently busy. It seemed to me that Hotel is running with a small number of employees. Price is within the usual in that area (paid US$130.00/ single room w/ breakfast). There are a number of restaurants around, but in the night downtown area did not invite for longer strolls.
A reasonable place to stay if your affairs are close to downtown Buenos Aires, but really nothing extraordinary as a place to enjoy.

The reception staff in the morning and the breakfast staff are extremely helpful, polite and courteous, but the reception staff in the night shift are terrible! Moody and very reluctantly come to ask 3 times if we really wanted them to call a taxi: "Are you sure??? It will take a long!!! It's easier to call yourselves anyone on the street!!!"
