“Great Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

I stayed here for New Years. It's a nice hotel. Staff at reception are very helpful for restaurant recommendations and bookings and have excellent English. Shower was great. Breakfast was a bit disorganised, the food was nice but I recommend getting there early. Rooms were nice and bright. WIFI was NOT free. There were free internet accessible PC's. Hotel is located in a nice area and near key tourist attractions.

“Very comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

Very comfortable rooms, clean, everything in working order. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location Recoleta is ideal for sightseeing, walking distance to city centre is approx. 25 minutes. Breakfast buffet is rich
The breakfast room is a little small at ‘rush hours’ when hotel is well booked and staff has difficulties in re-preparing tables for the following guests.
When going for the excellent hop-on-hop-off bus tour - pre-book your tickets via Internet. --------------------------- Waiting time can be up to 2 hours at station 0!

“Great hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

We recently stayed at the Bel Air Hotel over the Christmas holiday and loved it. Our room was simple, clean and spacious. Shower was great. The breakfast was good. Antonina and Luis at the reception desk are exceptional employees--they helped us to book restaurants, tours, etc. and were so helpful and nice. The bell boy, Nicolas, was also very nice and helpful. We loved the neighborhood where the hotel is located (Recoleta/Barrio Norte). Its so close to everything and easy to walk everywhere from this location and its a very pretty and safe neighborhood. We highly recommend this hotel and its well priced for what it offers. We would definitely go back and stay there.

“Nice stay, some staff problems”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

Hotel Bel Air is nicely situated on the Recoleta neighborhood, where you can walk around and find lots of small restaurants, parks, shopping malls and all sort of commerce. The hotel is a small one, so event taxi drivers had a hard time trying to figure out what do you mean by "Bel Air". It's about 5 blocks from Recoleta Cemetery.
We got a nice room, with a view to the street, a huge bathroom, but single beds instead of double beds as solicited. Then, some staff member asked us to move out from our room as they made "a mistake"… We discussed for 15 minutes and kept the room. Breakfast was acceptable, missing glasses and dishes like eggs happens time to time.
Anyway, some of their staff is really nice, we talked to a nice girl from front desk, I don't remember her name. She helped us a lot, giving suggestions for new year's eve and also calling restaurants… It's a good find.

Room Tip: Request clearly single or double beds. 6th floor got the suite room, with a view to the street and a...

“Good hotel in Recoleta”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 December 2011

A very decent hotel with large rooms and everything you want from a hotel. Locationwise it´s near the city centre in Recoleta. Breakfast was very rich and the staff friendly. If you want to stay in this area, you do nothing wrong staying here.
