Hotel Bel Air is nicely situated on the Recoleta neighborhood, where you can walk around and find lots of small restaurants, parks, shopping malls and all sort of commerce. The hotel is a small one, so event taxi drivers had a hard time trying to figure out what do you mean by "Bel Air". It's about 5 blocks from Recoleta Cemetery.
We got a nice room, with a view to the street, a huge bathroom, but single beds instead of double beds as solicited. Then, some staff member asked us to move out from our room as they made "a mistake"… We discussed for 15 minutes and kept the room. Breakfast was acceptable, missing glasses and dishes like eggs happens time to time.
Anyway, some of their staff is really nice, we talked to a nice girl from front desk, I don't remember her name. She helped us a lot, giving suggestions for new year's eve and also calling restaurants… It's a good find.
