Stayed here for two days in September 2011. Floor 7, if I recall.
Positives: Great location. Staff are attentive and friendly. Beds are comfortable. Free and fast wireless internet. Did I mention the great location?
Negatives: The hotel feels small and dingy upon entry, especially not helped by the odd positioning of the elevators (probably added after the building was built?) and the reception area. The food in the restaurant is average, and weak compared with the choices in the surrounding area. Room had a musty smell and while was mostly clean was not among the most inviting rooms I have been in.
Suggestions for travelers: A last-ish option. Not the worst place, but not highly recommended. If you need to, stay here for a day or so at the most.
Suggestion for the hotel: Time for renovation! Switch the room carpets out, add more white light to the rooms, maybe do up the paint. Your staff is good, retain them. Quick fixes include switching the reception to the entrance area off Parana as opposed to behind the elevators.
