Overall, my wife and I were disappointed with our stay. The best feature of the Hotel is its location. The rooms are small, dark and outdated, and I saw 3 different rooms and they were all the same. The bathrooms get soaked everytime you shower. The bed and the pillows are not comfortable. There is a lot of noise in terms of loud music coming from the surrounding areas on weekend nights making it very difficult to sleep on friday and saturday nights even at 3:00 AM in the morning. The breakfast quality was very average with limited variety with the coffee being the best item! By US standards, this is probably a 2-2.5 star hotel. Would highly recommend against staying here unless you get an extraordinary deal, ie no more than $70 per night and all you care about is a good location. Staff not particularly kind in their approach, their attitude being more like sorry, it is what it is!

On arrival we were shown to an excellent room, clean and comfortable, the resturant had a wide range of breakfasts. The concierge was helpfull and had a wide knowledge of the local area including places of interest. The location of the hotel is very central to the Retiro district and a short distance from Recoletta. The ferry port is very nearby for trips to Uruguay and the shopping area Florida Street also nearby. Lots of nice places to eat and drink are all within walking distance. The only disapointment with the hotel is the pool area, due to the surrounding hotels you couldnt get any sun in the afternoon. But on the whole a very enjoyable stay in an amazing city.

Stayed twice at this hotel over the course of a two-week vacation in Argentina. Excellent service, comfortable room for both visits.

Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. On both occasions our room faced the rear of the property -- opposite the street. The rooms were quiet -- no noise either from street level or adjacent rooms.

The included buffet breakfast was good -- wide selection of hot and cold foods: fruit, cereals, pastries, eggs, sausages, juices, coffee, and tea. The options remain the same from day to day... which is not a problem because of the variety.

The best part of this hotel is its location: it's near Av Sante Fe which boasts nearby shopping and restaurant options. We liked its proximity to the Subte (subway) on both the D line (3-4 blocks) and C line (5-6 blocks). Buenos Aires is a walkable city. The city centre can be reached with a 20-25 minute walk.

After traveling all around Chile and Argentina this was our last stop. Although the room seemed comfortable and nice upon further inspection we found the beds and pillows to be quite disgusting. My sister (and travel partner) had bed bugs and each hotel stop required a close look at mattresses. The beds and pillows apart from being old and dirty were quite uncomfortable. Everything else was decent, including the breakfast. We also were bothered by other travelers who decided that since they had a non-smoking room they should smoke inside the hallways outside of everyone else's non-smoking room, unaware that the smoke and smell enters under doorways.
