We just returned from a 7 week stay in Argentina and Uruguay. This was our third visit to Argentina but our first stay at Feirs Park Hotel. We ended up using Feirs Park as our base. So that alone should tell you how much we enjoyed the Hotel. We found the staff to be very helpful, the hotel clean and in an excellent location. Try and take advantage of their free tours. The Friday evening art galleries private tour is not to be missed.

This is a decent 4-star hotel (regardless of the varying ratings claimed online) in a safe location, within easy walking distance of two Subte stations, Recoleta restaurants and Calle Florida and on a street frequented by Radio taxis and the useful 152 bus. Once we realised how cheap taxis are we used nothing else, and the hotel was always quick to call a safe one for us. Staff are professional and efficient if not particularly friendly, and their English was no problem.
The rooms are all large; even the smallest ones have plenty of space for two people, although the bathrooms are miniscule so toiletries will have to be kept in the room. The kitchenette with separate sink and mirror served well for this purpose. Beds are comfortable, black-out curtains very effective and the air conditioner fairly quiet. The street out front is very still late at night so there was no problem sleeping with the door to the spacious terrace open.
Buffet breakfast is fine, but limited. There is a decent gym, free business center and an interesting paddle-pool deck with nice views over the city. Not great for small kids or those afraid of heights but fine for relaxing in the afternoon sun.
The competitive edge for this hotel is the free 3-hour city bus tour on Saturdays and free transfers to the Sunday antique market in San Telmo. The tour is a decent introduction to the city and popular so book early, before arrival even if you can.
The hotel gladly stored our large luggage when we went on short trips to elsewhere in Argentina. Once when we returned we were "upgraded" to a larger rear-facing room which I would not recommend paying for since the airconditioning units of the surrounding skyscrapers are all at the back and they can be heard into the night even through the double glazing.

In the city center. Large rooms with high level of comfort. Really good breakfast.

This is not the five star hotel their web site gives itself. That being said, it is a very good four star hotel at a great price. The rooms are fine, nothing special. Most unique aspect about the rooms is that they have size-able terraces. Room rates include breakfast and wifi access, definite pluses.
Hotel staff was very attentive.The gym was adequate.
Two minor negatives 1) the cable tv offerings seem to be a movable feast. One day it offered CNN International, next CNN was replaced with DW-TV.
2) Elevators are about the size of a large telephone booth.
Nonetheless, it would be hotel I would gladly return to.
