I agree with the last colleague - This hotel has not been updated since it was built, probably in the 1960's or earlier. Everything was out of date. There is WI-FI but no light in the ceiling and the shower is a bad joke, rusty and turn all the floot wet. For that price (70 dollars / night), except promotions, can find something around better. But it´s in the center of BAires, next obelisco and 9 julho avenue.

This hotel has not been updated since it was built, probably in the 1960's or earlier. Everything was out of date, even the TV and the light switches. There are no amenities except free WIFI. One day we did not receive towels until midnight and I had to use my pillowcase to dry off after a shower. They had no hand towels either. Location is central but it's in the downtown microcenter or business district and if you're going for pleasure, you must stay in Recoleta which is very much like Paris, with gorgeous architecture and cafes. Plus the traffic noise here made it difficult to sleep without earplugs.

I wouldn't like to stay at this hotel again. Rooms were absolutely horrific. The smell of mould was hovering everywhere and the colour of the carpet was unclear. I felt very uneasy to take of my shoes when walking around in the room. The overall impression was very shabby. On the top of everything there was a burnmark of an iron in the carpet. Breakfast was useless and I was extremely happy to leave this hotel after stay of three days in Buenos Aires. The positive things were that the location was perfect and the staff was friendly.

We stayed here on our return to BA from a Patagonia tour and they were happy to store luggage for us whilst we were away and 2 weeks prior to our one night booking so we were really pleased!

The staff were all very friendly and the hotel is in a good location and free internet- we previously stayed in the Melia in the city which was nicer but also more expensive so as always , you get what you pay for!
