We found the receptionists to be very helpful and replied promptly to any emails we sent. They extended a genuine welcome to us on arrival, and briefed us on the best things to do during our stay. The receptionists double up as concierge, which is not a problem when there is no queue, but we felt rushed when there were people behind us waiting to check-in.

Recoleta is the place to be - the location of the Savoy is certainly central, but it is on a very busy street. One of the guests was mugged outside the hotel one evening. Recoleta, on the other hand, is classy, more residential, brimming with good bars and restaurants, with noticeably less graffiti, which seems to be a big problem here.

Rooms at the Savoy are well appointed and represent good value for money, but the bed is hard and we had trouble sleeping the first couple of nights, as the air conditioning system could not keep up with the high temperatures outside.

What a pleasant hotel so close to the congresso and a short walk from all the sights.
I really loved the decor of this hotel and staff were super efficent and friendly.
Breakfast was really tasty and diverse.
The beds were so comfortable they garauntee a great night sleep.
Upgrade to Suite as they are massive.
Also you have access to the 5th floor which is lovely on a super sunny day.

The concierge was excellent and and answered every question we had and gave us great advice.

We werre here for three nights and were very well surprised with the place. Has been restored and has belle epoque atmosphere. I will come back and I recomend.
