I used Days Inn because I stayed in these hotels many times when travelling in the US. This hotel was disgusting and utterly rouined my trip to Argentina. I didn't want t go back to my room at night. It was filthy. The mattress had a protective cover on it which was disgustingly filthy and stained with !! The bathroom was small and again filthy. It was so small you could hardly use the WC. I would rather sleep on the streets than stay at this hotel.

The hotel is great if you would not mind giving away a little confort in order to have cheap quality time in Bs As. Although rooms were indeed smaller than average hotel rooms, it succeeded very well on its task of being just a place to hit the sack and take a shower. My room was clean and so were my towels/sheets, replaced every day. There's a great café just across the street and a complete supermarket nearby. AC did not work, I however asked for an air fan ("ventilador", in english Ben-tee-lah-der) which was rapidly granted. What breakfast lacks in variety it has in quality, excelent media-lunas, great orange/pomelo juice and strong black coffee. Very importantly, perhaps the biggest advantage of all, the location is superb, having almost all interesting places to visit a nice walk away.

I say you should save the money you would waste by having a small fridge in your room (which you will probably not use) and buy tickets for a tango show.

We used this hotel as part of a three city package from Virgin Vacations.  We had really enjoyed the other hotels.  We asked to have a superior room - which they told us we had.   We wouldn't have been able to get in with our suitcases in any room smaller than this one.  This room was tiny.   The clientel were very chic but this hotel was very old and creepy.  No way to get into the breakfast room if you couldn't navigate some very steep stairs.  The staff was very nice and helpful.  Very central to the downtown but it closes up at night.  Very few restaurants open nearby.  There is a wonderful supermarket 1/2 block away.  We did find a superb Chinese restaurant that we could see from our 9th floor room.  Thank goodness we had a condo booked for a week in Palermo after this room which was as fabulous as this was seedy.

the bedroom carpet was very dirty
lots of noise from outside
with one exception the staff were poor and unfriendly
We returned to the hotel one evening at 10 pm. the doors were locked, it took us twenty minutes to get someone to come and unlock it
Everything you read in the reviews on here is true
