We spent 6 nights at Own Palermo in January 2012. Own is located in a great area of Palermo Hollywood - loads of great restaurants, shops and bars are only a short walk away. The rooms are very spacious, with great sunlight and windows that open two different ways to let the air in. The beds are big and super comfy, with the most amazing sheets I have ever slept on! The staff made our stay an absolute joy - they were helpful beyond our expectations, with great recommendations for shopping, eating, running etc, and even helped us organise our trips to Iguazu and Bariloche. We will definitely be making a return visit to Own, and I would not hesitate in recommending this fantastic boutique hotel to anyone heading to Buenos Aires! Thank you Own

Had a great stay at the Own with my friend Dan. The hotel is small, intimate, boutique style with modern and cool features. It's reasonably priced for the area and quality it's a great option.
The good points. Very helpful and friendly staff, fresh and wholesome breakfast (simple but very good quality), cool rooms (although a little small), free internet & wifi, great bar and also selection of red wines in the room.
I think the main less good point is that the location is not so central, still a bit of a walk to the main parts of Palermo. Also some of the features in the room, whilst looking good were not so functional (e.g. shower a bit too close to the wall, door that didn't quite shut).
But these are minor quibbles. The Own has a good vibe and I think anyone would feel comfortable here.

The hotel itself is fine, average, rooms are nice and big tho, yet no outside space and most annoying thing was the girl on the reception with seemed nice but as soon as we asked a request too much she got annoyed, basically she was fine as long as you don't ask her. Otherwise our stay was nice.

A well located hotel in the city of Buenos Aires, close to all shops, pharmacies and restaurants. The hotel staff speaks English but the business places around do not. The nightlife in this city is amazing! and on the day people can find a very interesting market for antique shopping. Nice neighborhood!
