“Fantastic staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

This is a great hotel, made particularly special by the very helpful staff. All our requests and silly questions were very helpfully and efficiently dealt with- even to the extent of organising a tango lesson for us at the hotel. Just made our stay.

Rooms are nice and big and airy and the little sweets they offer to your room in an afternoon are very special!

I would definitely reccomend staying there- particularly as I think Palermo is the perfect place to stay in Buenos Aires as it really comes alive at night time.

“Wonderful Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

You'll be glad you stayed at Nuss. Everything was great- the location, the hotel areas and our room. The front desk and concierge staff were fantastic. Christian and Victoria couldn't have been more helpful and informative. On 2 nights, they hosted a small happy hour wine and cheese on the rooftop patio- we met interesting people and had a great time. Very clean and well- serviced hotel. One small caveat- not really a gym but an old, strange treadmill.

“Highly recommended hotel in a lovely area of Buenos Aires”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

We arrived at Nuss after a 16 hour journey so were desperate to get into our room and have a shower. Although the check-in time is 3pm the staff were really helpful in getting us into the room as quickly as possible ( by 12pm) and in the meantime took the luggage we needed to the small gym/sauna area so we could shower and freshen up.

The rooms at Nuss are spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. Due to cancelled flight to Trelew we ended up staying longer than anticipated and were upgraded from a superior to a deluxe room for the two further nights we stayed. The bathrooms in the superior rooms are rather small but nevertheless are very nice and have all the amenities you could wish for (bathroom products, hairdryer etc). The rooms are also equiped with flatscreen TVs, a minibar, safe etc and the most confortable bed we have ever slept in at a hotel. On the roof you will find a very small pool, sun loungers and a shaded seating area which is lovely for drinks in the evening.

There are only 22 rooms at Nuss and the staff really make the effort to get to know all of the guests. We found everyone to be genuinely friendly and extremely helpful. Security at the hotel is also excellent.

Not only is the hotel itself great, there are lots of good restaurants and bars in short walking distance of the hotel. Although give La Cabrera a miss...it was recommended to us by a number of people but unless you like a 40 minute wait for a poor quality meal in a very busy restaurant it's not worth a visit.

Highly recommended hotel. We would certainly stay here again.

“Lovely boutique hotel in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires”

This is a quaint but modern hotel in the middle of the shopping and restaurant district Palermo.

The rooms are large and ours had a small balcony with a high wall. There is some street noise but the rooms are sound insulated to the outside, however, the inside doors are a bit thin and there is some noise from the hall. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom has all the conveniences although the light above the mirror could be better for shaving. The reception and breakfast area are quiet and have a sophisticated air. The plunge pool, covered lounge area and beds on the roof are a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Every area of the hotel is clean and breathes quiet and calm.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The wireless internet is free and the connections are stable and fast.

If you like this area of Buenos Aires this a great hotel to stay at.

Room Tip: Try for a room at the end of the hall so that you avoid the elevator noise. Not all the rooms have...

“The best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

A great boutique hotel right in the heart of trendy Palermo Soho district. We stayed as a family, with adult children over Christmas 2011. Palermo Soho is a little bohemian, but wonderfully atmospheric, with great shopping and restaurants - safe and fun. It is a taxi/metro ride from all the main sights, but don't let that worry you, it's a really great location - nothing like the soulless downtown. Nuss is an exceptional hotel and a genuine home away from home. The rooms are spotless, very comfortable and spacious. The beds and pillows great. The really amazing thing about Nuss though, is the service.

Nothing was too much trouble for any of their staff and everyone unquestionably went out of your way to assist us. From so willingly storing miscellaneous luggage during our various absences (we came and went 3 times), to even taking a damaged shirt back to a local shop to get a replacement when we were unable to do so. From advice and help re things to do (including responding to queries by email before we even got there), places to go and restaurants to visit, to general guidance in getting around, the level of service was outstanding.

They pride themselves on their service and most certainly delivered. It is a truely exceptional hotel - very rarely do you find anywhere where you genuinely feel wanted and valued.

The rooftop is a real bonus and although the pool is only a big plunge pool to cool off in, it's a great place to relax amongst the tree tops after a long day tramping the streets. The hotel has about 30 rooms and those on level 2 have balconies which are a nice addition, although the design doesn't give you a street view (just trees) - although this doesn't really matter. The hotel is modern and pretty new.

There are many boutique hotels in BA, expecially in Palermo, and from all the resaerch we did this looked the best and we were certainly not disappointed. We'd recommend Nuss without hesitation.

Room Tip: The rooms on level 2 have balconies, although no street view that you get from levels 1,3 & 4.
