If you are in Buenos Aries on a Sunday, this is a great place to stay for the weekend. On Sunday there is a huge Flea market and it's right outside this hotel. It's a sight to see. Dancing and several concerts in the street, as well as lots of food, delicious cold fruit drinks and trinkets galore.
For my daughter and I this was a great location for 3 nights. We also grabbed a bus to go to the area called La Boca which is a great sight to see as well on Sunday.
If you are a big person this hotel might be too small for you. The space is super tiny. Which was fine for us, but I could see where it wouldn't be a for a large person. Even though the rooms are tiny it is cleverly arranged. If you are not planning on spending much time in your room it's perfect. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. They also speak English. Breakfast was scrambled or friend eggs with croissants and toast. Coffee as well.
If you need to iron you have to ask for it. It's not in the room. There is air conditioning, a safe, a flat screen TV, a desk and good internet connnection. It can be noisy at night. We had an excellent stay here at a good price!

The location of this hotel is brilliant (right next to the Plaza Dorrego in San Telmho) if you want to feel the real BA! We spent an amazing Friday night sitting in the Plaza listening to music and eating dinner. I have been to BA many times for work. But this was just a great time. We could easily walk all the way across the center of town, or catch the yellow tourist bus.

The hotel was very clean and nice. The breakfast was a bit simple but fine. The staff was helpful. We even stored our luggage there all day while we wandered the city.

If you are looking to really feel the city and want to be around the more edgy side is BA -- then stay here. If you want to be trendy and hip - Palermo might be more your style. If you want more typical American hotels try the hilton. For the money and location -- this is just great!

We asked for the room facing Plaza Dorrego for the views and atmosphere. If you want quiet, ask for a back room. The rooms are average size (or loft) with a modern look. . We loved this hotel and decided to book our last night in BA with a loft room. There is a good breakfast included. The staff here is very friendly and gave us some good advice about what to see and do in BA and elsewhere in Argentina. We liked the location because it was facing a small square with tango dancing in the evenings (we were there on a weekend). It's near some good restaurants and about 15 minutes to walk to central plaza.

We ended up staying at Telmho after being bumped from a different hotel. The hotel is small, facing the main square in San Telmo with great restaurants, tango and antiques right around the corner. The boutique factor made it very intimate and friendly.

The service was fantastic - everyone at the hotel was very helpful, not hesitant to chat about the sights in B.A. and unique adventures not found in typical guide books. Breakfast was made to order with eggs, meats, toast, croissants and the most delicious coffee of the trip! The room was very clean and always looked after accordingly.

The room itself was two stories, with the main bedroom and TV above a lounge area with the bathroom. While small, the bathroom made a great use of space and was actually one of the better on our trip. the walls were a little thin, but it wasn't really an issue even though the hotel was fully booked.

We really enjoyed our stay even though we had not booked this hotel initially, and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting B.A.
