“Suites are facing the back yard”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

We stayed in the hotel from 8th of February 2012 and had a booking for seven nights. We checked out, however, after two nights and moved to another hotel. The experience overall is avrerage. We honor the breakfast service and the appreance of the room. On the other side we had an balcony crowed by A/C units making it impossible to use it at night du to the wind form the fans. There is no view.... as all suites are facing the back yard.
The WiFi is fast in the lobby, but useless on our floor (8th). The room was equipped with a Nespresso machine, but capsules are USD 4 each. No possibility for a cup of tea or an instant coffe. We would like travellers like us to loook for another hotel in ths very nice city.

Room Tip: Skip the suite and have a room facing the street. It might be noisy....

Dear Guest

Thank you for choosing CasaSur Art Hotel during your recent visit to the city.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your comments, they are important for the success of the hotel. It is through these generous comments that we can improve our services and facilities.

Thank you for your positive comments over the breakfast service and the room. On the other side, I truly apology that we were not up to your complete expectations. As you mention, according the building structure distribution, a part of the room inventory faces the back yard the ones we offer to our guests requesting more privacy. While the others face the external view over the avenue. Concerning the wifi, this service experienced inconsistencies for a few days due to an unusual external discontinuity from the hotel internet purveyor. This issue has been repaired. About the coffee capsules we verified the values being competitive with the hotels around our area.

Once again we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts about the hotel with us, as it is only through constructive feedback that we can monitor and fine-tune our service and facilities

We look forward to welcoming you back to Casasur Art Hotel in the near future.

Yours sincerely,

Dear guest,

We would like to thank you for your time to contact us regarding the internet access.

I would like to express our most sincere apology for inconsistencies you have experienced during your stay at our hotel with the internet service.
Unfortunately your stay coincided with an unusual external discontinuity from the hotel internet purveyor. Not only the hotel but other clients and residents in the area were affected to this matter.

Please rest assured that the corrective actions had been already taken and the service has been re-established as usual.

We really appreciate your business with the hotel, and we hope to welcome you back to CasaSur Art Hotel in the near future.

Yours sincerely,

“Cant do enough for you at Casa Sur Art”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

Stayed there for three days before a cruise. Arrived hungover and jetlagged at 9.30 am and were given our very comfortable modern room with lovely bath and bed straightaway, Very friendly reception, excellent English and couldn't do enough for you, even send me a locket I'd forgotten in the safe back to England. Position ideal, very safe and you can walk anywhere. Great perching bar with excellent Argentinian wines and snacks. Altogether ideal if you want to stay in a small first class hotel in the hub of Buenos.

Room Tip: The higher up the better, on busy street.

“Oasis of peace in the centre of Buenos Aires”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

A beautiful boutique hotel close to the heart of BA in Recoleta.
Staff were efficient, polite, friendly and very helpful. They all spoke excellent English.
Our room was delightful with a small balcony over looking Callao

The restaurant was disappointing but BA has many excellent restaurants within a stones throw so this was not a problem.
the staff were only too happy to point us in the direction of many excellent restaurants and make bookings for us. They were knowledgeable and helpful.

The weekend Market in Plaza Francia is a must as is a wander around Puerto Madero and if you have the time while away a few hours at any of the waterside restaurants and watch the
world go by. One word of warning Cabañas las lilas, this restaurant is a major rip off, with rude and indifferent staff and grossly over priced steaks. If you want a good steak restaurant and want to eat where the locals go, then try La Dorita down on Libertador. Sotto Voce is an excellent Italian restaurant also on Libertador

Room Tip: Higher floors are lighter and more airy.

“friendly, classy hotel, staff & location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

We stayed at the Casasur Hotel for 2 days at the start of our trip & 2 days at the end. We loved the location in Recoleta where you are close enough to walk to the centre of the city but also have tree lined streets and a fantastic relaxed ambience. Within walking distance you have a number of sites to see such as the cemetery where Eva Peron is laid to rest, places to relax such as cafe la biela, local delicacies such as the empanadas (try the spicy meat one) and easy access to the tour buses, train station & tube.
We received excellent advice from the staff on things to do, particularly with Veronica acting as our local tourist planning guide. She recommended a great Tango Show (Carlos Gardel), a trip to Tigre Delta, the cathedral & general atmosphere of San Isidro as well as various over things to do around the city.
The rooms and hotel are stylishly designed to compliment the wonder of Buenos Aires. A great place to base yourself from

Room Tip: Try to get a room on a higher floor to enjoy the view
