This is a real 5 star hotel. 5 star rooms, 5 star food service, 5 star everything!!!
Place is beautiful and it has everything to spend a perfect family vacation.

We stayed at the Sofitel La Reserva for a "Romantic package" weekend. We stayed only one night but was enough to be delighted by the service, setting and facilities of this great hotel.

Room: incredibly spacious, top-notch and luxury evident in every dteail. Loved the bathroom!!!! One of the best I've ever seen. Big balcony overlooking the pool and lake... very relaxing!!!

Service: staff were very helpful and nice.

Thumbs up: rooms, service, setting,kid's club (excellent!!)
Thumbs down: SPA. And here is where I'll go into the details: the SPA looks (to my state) too much like a surgery room. Everything is greay and black and white,, no warmth at all. Spa services are completely overpriced. We both had a treatment done and we were both very dissappointed by the standard and mediocre service. Even the facilities look old to be such a new hotel.
You have to pay $130 to access the "pileta ludica". The indoor swimming pool is a little small, but the outdoor connection is really nice.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, but don't pay extra for spa services or treatments. They're not worth the proces.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for two nights during a weekend.
The building is beautiful, very clean, spacious. We had no troubles during cheking in or out. The room was probably the best of all, very big, nice balcony, incredible bath, the bed was PERFECT. Dont miss lunch or dinner at the "ITALPAST", a restaurant in the Country Club area (walking distance) from the hotel, very good food at very reasonable prices. You should ask the front desk to make reservations otherwise you will not get in (it is always full).
Pool area, lake, gym... everything very new and nice.
Low points: There is a "water circuit" in the SPA with some jacuzzies, steam, sauna, etc; that can only be used during one hour, you can not stay longer. I guess it would be much better (in this type of hotels) to have a place wher guests can enjoy these facilities with no time limit, and I did not like that it is a unisex space.... much better when it is separated. Another low point was the service at the swimming pool area, there is a bar that was closed (even though over 100 guests were there), and there was no option to have a drink elsewhere, this is something to be adjusted.
Everyone was very friendly and despite this small problems, we had a perfect stay
