Beautiful resort
The place I very beautiful and the rooms are spacious and with great minimalistic décor.
Food is good, not outstanding as well as the service.
At sundown the landscape is fantastic.

A beautifully designed hotel in the middle of nowhere about 60 km from down town Buenos Aires with one of the best golf courses in Argentina. Spacious modern rooms breathing comfort. We experienced no contact noises from neighbouring rooms or from the corridor. The hotel can improve on hospitality and cuisine. In a venue like Sofitel Los Cardales one expects personnel passionate or at least interested to fulfill customers' demand. This was only to a lesser extend the case and seemingly more an individual thing than the hotel's DNA. Cuisine was absolutely disappointing. The ambiance makes one expect that dishes will be top notch and maybe even somewhat extravagant. Food was -while well prepared- very much middle of the road. we believe that the hotel certainly should put an effort in improving this especially because of its remote location.

If you are going to spend time north of Buenos Aries Argentina and do not want to deal with the traffic, then this is the hotel to stay in. The rooms are unbelievable. The only draw back is the restaurant on the property. Play it safe and always order the steak. This is a resort so there is plenty to do while you are there.

I stayed at this hotel with my son, his fiancee and her son. They messed up almost everything from the beginning, first telling us they only had one room (we had booked two), then saying the rooms were on different floors when we had specifically asked for them to be adjoining. Finally they upgraded us and the rooms were stunning, absolutely beautiful, could not have asked for more.
They told us we could order lunch by the pool, but when we tried to, no food was available. Eventually we were offered burgers, but after an hour they had still not arrived so we had lunch in the restaurant, but not until 4.00pm!
At dinner we were given the breakfast menu, then dinner menus with completely different prices for the same items.
Having said this, the food was great, the hotel is lovely and everyone was very friendly and pleasant. Perhaps we were just the victims of an attack of inefficiency.
