If you are going to spend time north of Buenos Aries Argentina and do not want to deal with the traffic, then this is the hotel to stay in. The rooms are unbelievable. The only draw back is the restaurant on the property. Play it safe and always order the steak. This is a resort so there is plenty to do while you are there.

I stayed at this hotel with my son, his fiancee and her son. They messed up almost everything from the beginning, first telling us they only had one room (we had booked two), then saying the rooms were on different floors when we had specifically asked for them to be adjoining. Finally they upgraded us and the rooms were stunning, absolutely beautiful, could not have asked for more.
They told us we could order lunch by the pool, but when we tried to, no food was available. Eventually we were offered burgers, but after an hour they had still not arrived so we had lunch in the restaurant, but not until 4.00pm!
At dinner we were given the breakfast menu, then dinner menus with completely different prices for the same items.
Having said this, the food was great, the hotel is lovely and everyone was very friendly and pleasant. Perhaps we were just the victims of an attack of inefficiency.

This is a real 5 star hotel. 5 star rooms, 5 star food service, 5 star everything!!!
Place is beautiful and it has everything to spend a perfect family vacation.

We stayed at the Sofitel La Reserva for a "Romantic package" weekend. We stayed only one night but was enough to be delighted by the service, setting and facilities of this great hotel.

Room: incredibly spacious, top-notch and luxury evident in every dteail. Loved the bathroom!!!! One of the best I've ever seen. Big balcony overlooking the pool and lake... very relaxing!!!

Service: staff were very helpful and nice.

Thumbs down: SPA. And here is where I'll go into the details: the SPA looks (to my state) too much like a surgery room. Everything is greay and black and white,, no warmth at all. Spa services are completely overpriced. We both had a treatment done and we were both very dissappointed by the standard and mediocre service. Even the facilities look old to be such a new hotel.
You have to pay $130 to access the "pileta ludica". The indoor swimming pool is a little small, but the outdoor connection is really nice.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, but don't pay extra for spa services or treatments. They're not worth the proces.
