My husband and I stayed at this place in January 2012. We had reservations at another hotel but we canceled them and reserved a room at this place instead. We could have not made a better decision. The front desk staff are some of the nicest people we have ever met at a hotel. The front desk staff is also there 24 hours so whatever you need they will help you. They also have a/c which comes in handy during the summer months and free wifi is also. Even after we checked out and went to another area in Buenos Aires they told us if we needed any help with anything we could come back and ask them. When we go back to Buenos Aires this will definitely be one of the places we stay.

On our honeymoon we found out our flight into Bariloche was cancelled at the airport. Frustrated we jumped on travel advisor to find a last minute hotel to spend an unexpected night in BA. Upon arrival, it was clear on my face I was a bit unhappy with our detoured plans but the hospitality and friendliness of this cozy hotel completely changed my attitude. We were offered a glass of wine at their quaint bar/lobby and were greeted by two gentlemen who were so incredibly kind. We were invited to see one of the guys play in his band and ended up having one of our favorite nights of our entire trip. In downtown BA we were the only Americans in this off the map authentic BA bar. Incredible company surrounded us in an environment filled with amazing music. This trip was over 4 months ago and we still talk about how much we loved the hotel.

Great service; Safe area; Dark rooms need additional wattage; excellent free breakfast; Reasonably priced. Airport pickup service was not good (contact was absent when our flight arrived).

A small boutique hotel in an old historic suburb of Buenos Aires. The staff was very nice and friendly, you get a lot of advise of where to eat, where to go during your stay. If you like party, maybe you should stay in Palermo, if you want a nice cosy relaxing place, stay in this old surbur
