“My new home in Buenos Aires!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2012

Maggie’s B&B is in a great older building right in the cntre of Buenoas Aires -- amking getting around town a real treat! It is just a block and a half from Ave. de Mayo with easy access to walk most places – or take the Subte (subway). Maggie’s apartment is in an older building with a century-old elevator that reminded me of the one in the movie Thoroughly Modern Millie (although I do not think I would tap dance in it). The rooms were clean, bright and comfortable. Maggie is also very generous with information about Buenos Aires and helped me to acclimate to the city and how to get around it. She has a lot of knowlege about what is going on in the city and some of the best ways to see it. Above all, Maggie is very warm and charming and I hope to stay there again on future visits to Buenos Aires – I do not think once is enough!

“Maggie's B&B in Buenos Aires was great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2012

Centrally located, quiet, clean, helpful.....and very fairly priced. Nothing fancy, but who needs it? In this city you want to be out and about and this B&B is a great home base. She also linked us up with Steve and his Delta Enigma tours of the Rio Plato delta. www.deltaenigma.com

“Excellent Buenos Aires B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 December 2011

Maggie is a gracious, knowledgeable and exceedingly helpful hostess. Her local experience truly enhanced my eight day stay in Buenos Aires. Her B&B - public areas and guest rooms - is beautifully decorated. Everything is clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are good. Location is exceptionally convenient. Rates are reasonable. Maggie's is an superb choice for visitors visiting Buenos Aires!

Room Tip: Maggie only has two rooms. I opted for the larger, more expensive room, although I was traveling on...

“Home sweet home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 November 2011 via mobile

After 4 months of travel, my boyfriend and I were looking for something interesting on BA outside of the hostel scene we had become so accustomed to. We stayed at both Maggie's BnB and her friend's apartment down the street. Both were fantastic. The friend's place was much larger and you have full use of the kitchen but didn't include breakfast and the host wasn't there. Maggie's included breakfast (which is very lovely) and she stays in the house. Maggie's place was more fun for us and full of charm-who doesn't love a fun host. She was a wealth of knowledge and full of recommendations for dinner and tango shows.

“The apartment - not the B&B: Great location in BA - feels like home!”

We stayed in the apartment - not at the actual Maggies B&B, but it's run by the same lady.

It's a 3 bedroom apartment, with TV-room, kitchen (for everyone to use) and dining room. It's a very well kept old style building and apartment, but clean and modern. Spotless!

We stayed in the Marilyn Room, the only en-suite room in the apratment, with a big comfy double bed and small balcony facing the street. It could get a bit noisy, but hey, it's BA, there's 15 million people living in the city!

Maggie was very helpful, we could even store our luggage with her when we went down to Patagonia for a couple of days.

The location is just awsome, in the middle of the city, walking distance to San Telmo, the obelisk and everything around the centre.

Try the empanadas from the pizzeria from just across the street! Best in BA!
