Noster Bayers is a great little B&B. It’s in a good location on the edge of San Telmo just 10 minutes from the subway (line C, constitucion). There are plenty of bars and restaurants close by.
Our room was clean, bright and simple, but with character (they are themed rooms), the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and linen every two days and there was always plenty of hot water.
Breakfast was simple (bread, cake, jam , coffee, juice and jelly!) but was enough for us. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Not everyone could speak English and our Spanish is poor but they always tried and with the help of google translate we could communicate fine!
A great little place, perfect for a city break.

Noster Bayres certainly isn't elaborate. It is an old townhouse, which has been redone in a fairly plain style. It does however offer comfortable rooms and good service. For the $50 US per night that we paid for a room with 3 beds, the value was exceptional.

Service at Noster Bayres was very prompt and friendly and the area (San Telmo) is charming and offers an interesting glimpse into BA's past. Noster Bayres is conviently located close to a number of good restaurants, Plaza Dorrego (awesome live jazz until the wee hours of the morning) is a pleasant 8 block walk, and it is 20 minutes on foot to downtown BA.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in total and feel it suited our needs just fine. Here's a quick list of pros and cons from our standpoint so you decide for yourself if its somewhere you want to stay.

Pros:
- Nice big rooms, the second one we stayed in had AC (nice in the hot summer)
- Location was good. Its at the southern end of San Telmo (older cobblestone area of the city) and a quick walk to the restaurant area of that neighborhood. It is bordering on the La Boca neighborhood with a big park separating it, which we were told we should not walk into (the neighborhood, not the park) if we could help it, but we never felt unsafe day or night.
- Day staff was excellent. Sol, the woman who helped us, had excellent english and went way out of her way to help us book bus and hotels for the second part of our trip. Thanks Sol!
- Price - for the price in Buenos Aires we thought it was great value. We saved money by not booking online ($65 per night as opposed to $85 at the time).

Cons:
- Free WIFI didnt work on the second floor and up (just small inconvenience)
- Free breakfast left something for Americans or Europeans to be desired. Breakfast in general in Argentina is not great to begin with, so its not necessarily the hotel's fault.
- Night staff wasnt as proficient in English at the time, but still very friendly and we figured it all out

Overall it worked out and we were thankful for all the help during our stay. If we return we would also now considering staying up in the Palermo Viejo area (if we could afford it). It was also a very cool, hip neighborhood up north that seemed to have a lot going on.

Family-run hostel with very few rooms, which gives them the opportunity to get to know their guests and help us with anything we needed.
I wanted to surprise my boyfriend and take him to the Boca soccer stadium for a match and they got the tickets for me, transportation etc and kept the secret until the end...!!!! It definitely is a warm atmosphere and you are looking for something relaxed, quiet and homey, this is your hostel. Being all locals, they are also full of great tips to help you discover the fantastic places that Buenos Aires has to offer that dont appear in the travel guides. I will definitely come back to Noster Bayres!
